The Washington Square Art Gallery is pleased to announce that it will feature Dan Henderson’s photography during the month of October.
Dan Henderson’s flirtation with photography began as a child using a Kodak Instamatic, as he became the “official” photographer of family vacations. Later he experienced the thrill and alchemy of the high school’s dark room as he watched his first print appear from the developer, and experimented in that “dark chamber” to produce unusual images.
Henderson works in black and white film today. He develops all of his own art in a dark room. He uses the classic photographic process to better express his vision.
The Gallery is located at 453 Washington Ave. in Holland. The hours are Wednesday-Thursday, 12-7 p.m. and Friday-Saturday, 12-9 p.m. For more information, please visit http://www.washingtonsquareartgallery.com/ or call (616) 396-0230.
