Working in conjunction with reputable Grand Rapids producer and engineer, Mike Cervantes, the band of Muskegon natives, Audrey, will release the follow up to its 2009 EP, “When We Were Young” this November. The release show is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. at Building One in Muskegon.
Having made a name for itself as one of the hardest working bands in Michigan in its two years together, Audrey has earned a loyal following and a considerable amount of respect in the Michigan music scene.
On its latest release, The Flyaway, it tells the second side of a love story, this time from a female perspective. The five-track EP shows a much more developed and matured sound for the band, partially due to switching gears from being a five-piece act to a four-piece. Singer Everett Parks picked up the guitar and Kameron Chauvex joined the band on drums.
Audrey will play a string of dates across Michigan at some of its favorite venues, including stops in Muskegon, Lansing, Kalamazoo, Saginaw, Holland, and Mount Pleasant.
