The Celadon Summer Concert Series is not only offering another excellent performance, but a chance to win big as well. On Thursday, July 22 the Sweet J Band will auction off a house or backyard concert and guitar lessons in support of the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
The local blues band, which regularly backs former Idol contestant Matt Giraud, will perform from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. at the Celadon Amphitheater behind Celebration Cinema North. In addition to the performance, the Sweet J Band will be selling their WYCE Jammie winning CD, Where My Devils Go, with all proceeds going to the ADA.
The event is free, outdoors and open to the public of all ages. Grand Rapids Pizza will be on-site selling food; however, the event is BYOB. A $5 donation is suggested to help support the ADA. This performance will be the fourth event of the Celadon Summer Concert Series.
