Egypt Central to rock the Intersection
By: Brittney Schering
Encouraging rockers, Egypt Central, will be coming to the Intersection on Sept. 7.
Fellow heavy rockers of Nonpoint will be coming all the way from South Florida to join Egypt Central. The band is described as, "an explosive and angst-driven hard-rock quartet." Nonpoint's new album, titled "Miracle," is now available on iTunes.
After its current tour is over, Egypt Central will go into the studio with famed producer, Skidd Mills of Saving Abel, to record the anticipated follow-up to its self-titled CD. The album was released in 2005, then remastered and released again in 2008 through Fat Lady Music/ILG/Warner.
Its hit radio songs, including "Taking You Down Me Down" and "You Make Me Sick," can be listened to at www.egyptcentral.net.
All ages are welcome at the show. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, which opens at 6:00 p.m. For more information on the show, check out www.sectionlive.com.
