The Henhouse Prowlers will be performing at Bell's Eccentric Cafe on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 9:30 p.m.Chicago, as the Prowler's Web site notes, is "a city known for its blues...and its bluegrass." Playing traditional bluegrass from Chicago, the five Henhouse Prowlers perform wearing suits and ties, and all share a mic.
The Henhouse Prowlers released its second album, A Dark Rumor, in September and music from its first, self-titled album can be heard on PBS as the soundtrack to Mike Leonard's series "The Ride of Our Lives."
